Economizers for Any Application
The E-Tech economizer is essentially a finned tube heat exchanger installed in the boiler flue exhaust stack. Hot flue gases pass over the finned tubes as boiler feedwater circulates inside the tubes. This preheats the feedwater, recovering otherwise wasted heat from the escaping flue gas. The higher temperature of feedwater entering the boiler contributes to smoother operation and quicker response to steam demands.
